Right so today is my first post abot the wedding, so I thought I would ltell you all about how me and Michael met. It is a very long and complicated story so I might have to put a few pictures at the end to explain a few things.
Right here goes lol. Me n Michael met 12 Years ago when was 12 and he was 13. I lived in Hull and he lived in Stoke on Trent. My Mum was talking to his Dad(Andy) and his auntie(Steph) online. Me and my Mum used to go all over the country to go see friends all the time, so when she told me that we was going to Stoke on Trent to meet some new friends this wasn't new to me. So I asked my mum the basic questions that a kid would ask lol like -
- Is there going to be other kids?
- Is there any shops near?
- How far is it?
Typical Kids questions lol. she told my that their was going to be a lot of kids but only 1 will be older then me (Michael). So when we got there she told me that we will be staying at Andy's house. At this point my mum started seeing Andy, But this didnt last long. My mum was still friends with Steph so we continued to visit. I knew there nd then that I really liked Michael.
On one of our later visits my mum asked my dad if he could take us up there because he was going to meet a friend that lived quite close. So my mum took me in the car for a visit and my dad was taking my bother andrew with him. To find out that they where both going to meet the same person, Steph.
6 weeks later Steph moved in with my dad in Hull. after this I didnt get to see michael for a long time. My brother Andrew lived with my dad and Steph had 4 kids of her own so when they traveled back to Stoke on Trent for a visit there was no room for me, plus at this point I didnt have a good relationship with my dad.
My dad and steph had a very rocky relationship they were constantly breaking up then getting back together. When is was 14, they had split, me and my dad decided to work on our relationship. We went on holiday to devon with my nanna and a few other family members.
This is where I met Chris. This did not turn out to be a good relationship. He made me feel like I didnt deserve friends and that I should only need him. He also used to kick off at me if I wore nice clothes and make-up, I ended up on tracksuits with no make-up everyday. When I was 15 my dad was back with steph and they where going to Stoke on Trent to pick up Steph's mum because she was moving to hull to be with her daughter. So I jumped at the chance to go with them, because I wanted to see michael. I got my self all dressed up, wore makeup for the first time in about 6 months. I knew if michael asked me to leave Chris and be with him I would jump at the chance. However, when he walked in he looked at me then just walked away, I was gutted. I later found out that my dad and Steph had told him to leave me alone because I was in a commited relationship and didnt need have my head messed with.
(During my relationship with Chris I felt like Icouldnt be on my own that I will always need someone there to look after me.)
Every chance I got to go back up to Stoke I took it. I remember this one time I ws determained to make him want me. So when I was 16, his nanna was going to Stoke to stay for a few weeks to visit, I asked my dad to take me with him. I put on my best short skirt and sexy top did my hair perfect fake tanned my legs did ym make up the best I could, put on some sexy heels. When we pulled up My dad Honked the horn to let Michael and hs brother (Tim) know that we where there and that they had to come and help their nanna settle. As they came out of their house I stepped out of the car and helped my dad get some of the things out of the car. At that point I saw the way Michael was looking at me, I cant say it didnt feel good because it did. I hadnt had anyone look at me like that in a long time, like I was worth something and I was beautiful.
For the rest of that day I didnt say a word to Michael I wanted to let him know that I can ignore him too. lol
About 1 month after this, I was due to go to my prom. My mum and dad had bought everything for me I was excited about going, and then 3 days before Chris told me that I cant go that he didnt want me to go because he wanted to spend the night with me instead. I told him that I had put all this effort into going to my prom and I deserved to go and if he didnt like it then to f**k off lol. I never spoke to him again.
I went through a bad phase in my life after this trying to find someone who will beright for me. a few months after this a gave up and decided to be on my own. I started to spend time with a few friends out of college and just enjoy life.
About 1 Month after this decision Michael turned up at my dad and Stephs house to stay for a week to visit his family. When I got told he was down I didnt belive them until we went on messenger and I saw his face. He told me he wanted to see me, so I went the next day.
And here we are 7 1/2 years later 2 kids and getting married.
